Option 1: Delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within Remindr (available on the web app and the mobile app):
- Open Remindr and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated data are then permanently deleted.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email us from the email address registered to your Remindr account at support@tryremindr.appwith the subject “Delete my account.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request, and we will complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying it.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the data we hold about you, including:
- your account and profile (name, email, and any phone number);
- your audio recordings and uploaded files;
- your transcripts, notes, summaries, and collections;
- your meetings, contacts, and speaker voiceprints (voice embeddings);
- your chat history and the AI memory generated from your content; and
- your usage and personalization data.
Deletion cascades across all of our systems — our database, cloud audio storage, and the AI memory store — so your content is removed everywhere, not just hidden.
What we keep, and for how long
After deletion, your content is removed immediately from active systems. Residual copies may persist in routine encrypted backups for a short period and are overwritten on our normal backup rotation (within 30 days).
We may retain a limited set of records where we are required to by law or for legitimate business purposes — for example, billing and transaction records needed for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. These records are retained only for as long as required and are not used to re-identify your deleted content. Note that payment records held by our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle, are governed by Paddle’s own retention policies.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove specific content. Inside the app you can delete individual notes, voice notes, and meetings at any time — open the item and tap the delete (trash) action. Deleting an item removes its recording, transcript, and associated AI memory.
